Karina Michaud
Karina started playing pickleball in 2014. Karina was number one player in Quebec for 3 years in a row until she left to start and develop Pickleball everywhere in Canada. Karina was the first player ever in Quebec to get her PPR certification in the USA to become a professional pickleball coach. In 2019, there was no program or any type of coaching system in the Canadian East coast. Karina developed a program then and started to teach part-time. During that period, she was still working as a criminal analyst for Sûreté du Québec full time. Four months after starting teaching part time, demand was already much bigger. She then decided to build on a nationwide level: The Canadian Pickleball Academy.
As for now, Karina is in the Top 3 female players in Canada. She is also playing on the APP and PPA Pro tour during winter and teaching everywhere in Canada during summer season. In 2023, she started doing destination camps in beautiful exotic location: Pickleball in Paradise. Karina’s approach to pickleball is unique. The experience itself becomes the main lead of all her different concepts of work. Her high qualification and experience makes her a great professional coach but her positive and supportive attitude makes her one of a kind. The vision of this project is to share the love of pickleball all over the world.

Visa & Entry Requirements
• VOA-Visa on Arrival costs IDR 500.000 (approx. USD35) per person (applies to adults and children) and the payment is on arrival.
• VOA is for a single Entry into Bali/Indonesia, for a stay up to 30 days and can be extended for a maximum 1 time at the local Immigration Office (charges apply).

When you book your flight, your arrival airport will be at DPS - Ngurah Rai International Airport.
Tourism Levy
Starting from 14 Feb 2024, The Bali Provincial Government will apply a tourism tax for foreign tourists.
International tourists who intend to visit Bali must pay a foreign tourist fee of IDR150,000 (approx USD10), charged in Indonesian currency.
The fee is to be paid through lovebali.baliprov.gov.id or directly at international airport and seaport in Bali. The entry fee will be used to conserve Bali's nature so that it remains clean, sustainable, and comfortable for all.
